...and the little one said, "roll over, roll over...."

To Grandma Ada,

A grandma who always had time for me, and took joy in every minute we spent together.

A grandma who taught me,
to never give up because practice makes perfect...
beauty is on the inside...
to find happiness in the little blessings of life...
And to love those close to you, with all heart.

You will always be one of the greatest story tellers I know, you most definitely gave the best arm and foot tickles, and always had a song to sing, which usually required the help of us grandkids.

I hope I can have your love for life and silliness in the little moments that it brings. Thanks for all your great life lessons, tell Grandpa hi, and that I miss him. What a happy reunion that must have been. You deserved every bit of it.

love,

your ladybug

all i have to show

Still not finished...but so so so close. I was debating on keeping this one a surprise, but I am not very good at keeping secrets.

Considering this is a blog about projects I am working on or have completed...it only seemed right. I wouldn't want you all to think I am doing nothing. I apologize for the "awesome" quality. They were taken from my cell phone to track my progress.

...and yes, they look better in small format.

dot dot dot

Wool...who would have thought. Thanks again Holly.

So I may have gone a little overboard on the amount of pictures for just this one little guy, but I had quite a fun little time happily shooting away, and I had so many favorites.

I don't know if I should admit how long it took me to complete this one pillow, but it was much longer than needed to be, considering all I needed to do was stitch it closed.

Also, I absolutely love the blue fabric on the back, thank you pipers quilts...oooh so much fun.
