new series completed...well, almost

Small paintings once again. These little box panels, hardly bigger than a photo, were just the perfect size for painting on sight.


The design in the background is the same technique I have used in some earlier paintings. Wintergreen oil...love it.


I still have two more panels that need to be painted, until then, a series of six it is.

Acrylic on paper, I just might be sold. That, or I am too lazy to pull out my watercolors. Yeah, probably the latter.




So with these little paintings (they are only about a 3x5) I decided to make little cards...adorable baby cards if I may say so.

new reference images are in order. This little ditty is on paper and about 6 1/2 by 6 1/2 inches. I used acrylics in a way my dear friend Alyssa would appreciate. The outcome, I'll let you decide. Although, I have to say, I very much enjoyed painting this way.


Who knows, I think I may do a little series of acrylic street paintings on paper?
